Introducing Editor, A Free WordPress Theme

One of the first projects I wanted to tackle after launching Array was a free theme in the WordPress.org repository. I’ve wanted to submit a theme for some time, but the timing never worked out and I was a little intimidated by the review process. But after going through a few successful and painless reviews at WordPress.com, I decided it was time to get my hands dirty at WordPress.org.

Introducing Editor

Editor puts bold and beautiful publishing right at your fingertips with comfortable, legible typography and large featured images.

Clean and Crisp Typography

Editor’s typography styles have been hand-picked to provide a comfortable reading and writing experience. Use blockquotes and pull quotes to highlight your articles and editorials.

Versatile Sidebar

Editor features a sticky sidebar, keeping your site navigation, Featured Posts and widgets front and center. Using the Customizer you can choose a light or dark sidebar color scheme.

Scales To All of Your Devices

Editor is responsive, all the way down to mobile. Images, videos and text will scale down gracefully to iPad, iPhone and all devices in-between. Editor looks great on all devices!

Bold and beautiful publishing in your palm.

Rethinking “Free”

Although Editor is free, it is by no means limited or any less capable than any of our other themes. We put the same attention to detail into Editor as we do every theme in the Array collection. It was important to us that we create a theme that didn’t feel free or have any catch. No up-selling, no upgrade nags, no funny business. Just a unique and well-crafted theme that’s super easy to use from the second you activate it.

Give Editor a spin and let us know what you think! We look forward to seeing what people build with Editor, so please share your creations with us. If you have a Theme Pass here on Array, we’ve already added Editor to your Dashboard!

    • Hi Paolo,
Unfortunately, there isn’t an option to do that. You’d have to modify the template files in Editor to move the post meta below the post.

  3. Thank you Mike for your answer, is not a big deal really, i will try to tinker it a bit, well done again for your work.:)

    Cheers

  4. Hello guys,
The theme is awesome, I’ve just started to use it. But I noticed one bug. If I use IE 11 the menu jumps up at a scrolling (On your demo page the same bug).
    Could you fix it? Please:)
